WHAT IS THE SOI OPEN MIC?

• The SOI Open Mic is unlike any other speaking event.
• Every edition revolves around one ordinary object.
• For our first edition, that object is Coffee.
• You'll experience four 20-minute lectures, each delivered by a different speaker from a different field all using the same object to explore completely different ideas.
• The goal isn't to learn about coffee.
• It's to discover how differently people can think about the same thing.
